YOUTH MINISTRIES DEPARTMENT REPORT FOR THE PERIOD 2016-2022
We thank God for the way He has blessed His work and made it possible for the achievements we are able to cite due to His power. (see Zachariah 4:6) Our first year in the office, when we compare 2015 and 2016 we realized an immense growth in both tithe and combined offerings of 25% and 15% respectively. This immense growth was what probably necessitated the vision for the sub-division of Lake Victoria.
In 2016 and 2017, we also realized a growth of both 11% and 28% in tithe and combined offerings respectively. In 2017 and 2018, we realized a decline in both tithe and combined offering of 25% and 32% in both tithe and combined offering respectively. This experience came as a result of a very long drought that made people not to realize any harvest, and the two stations that went to Victoria. We never even expected what the Almighty made us realize.
In 2018 and 2019, we had a growth of 16% and 25% in both tithe and combined offerings respectively. It happened to be the first year when we gave 40 districts and 2 stations i.e. Homabay and Sori as a result of sub-division, we began the the healing process, but we were still nursing some wounds. Despite that, we still had a growth in both tithe and combined offerings.
In 2019 and 2020, we had fully healed, the wounds we were nursing had healed, and our train began to move normally. This was demonstrated by a growth of 27% and 8.6% in both tithe and combined offerings respectively.
In 2020 and 2021, we realized a growth of 22% in tithe and a decline of 2.1% in combined offering.
Finally in 2021 and 2022 we only reported up to June 2022 worth a tithe total of 117, 718,418 while combined offering a total of 3,510,316.50. By God’s grace even this year, we are anticipating a growth.Read more
